Alfred Duncan unveiled as the latest signing of Sassuolo

Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan says he made the decision to join Sassuolo because of the track record of manager Eusebio Di Francesco in developing young players.

The 22-year-old was unveiled as the latest signing of the Black and Greens at the Stadio Ricci on Tuesday.

This will be the first permanent move of the former Ghana U20 star since turning professional at Inter Milan.

Duncan struggled to break into the first team at Inter and was farmed out on loan to Livorno and then Sampdoria.

The Ghana international says he was convinced moving to Sassuolo was the right decision because of the specialty of manager Di Francesco in developing young players.

'I am very happy to be here, I got to improve in terms of personnel,' he said.

'I chose Sassuolo because I was convinced by the coach who is young and very good at growing boys.

'I do not know anybody in the new group and do not know well the square but some friends who played here I have spoken very well.”
