League Report Demonstration coming up: Supporters want Board, Management out should Kotoko fall to Hearts
JUL 28, 2015 LISTEN

A section of the Asante Kotoko Supporters wing by name Hot Corcles 2 have finally secured Police permit to go on a massive demonstration against the Kotoko Board and Management if they lose against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Kotoko have had an inconsistent performance throughout the season, placing 11 on the league log, with 6 matches to go in the First Capital Plus Premier League.

Despite a win against their regional rivals, Ashanti Gold in the weekend at the Baba Yara Sports to return to winning ways after two successive defeats in the league, the supporters are anxious to overturn their poor results in Accra this season.

According to Nkoo Joseph, the Chairman of Hot Circles 2 in Accra, they have secured Police permit to give way to their intended demonstration against the Board and Management, if the team fail to secure a respectable result against Hearts of Oak.

'We can't afford to lose any game in Accra this season, we lost the independence Cup, the President's Cup all in Accra, another defeat would influence us to go on a demonstration against the Board and the Management for mismanaging the affairs of the club,' he told Allsports.com.gh

'We secured a Police permit on Monday and we are ready to go on the street to make our grievances clear.

'If Opoku Nti is not managing Kotoko well, the Board should sack him, because they have the mandate to do that and for failing to do so, it means they have confidence in him and should be blamable for the outcome of the decisions he make.

Kotoko were thrashed 3-0 by Olympics in the Independence Cup, walloped 3-1 by Liberty Professionals in a league game and suffered another painful defeat in the President's Cup on penalties after the regulation had ended goalless.

A win would enable Kotoko avenge their 0-1 defeat to Hearts of Oak in the first round at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
