Aston Villa's squad numbers for the coming season have been announced.
The most notable of the few changes sees Jordan Ayew take over the no. 10 shirt, just like his elder brother, Andre who joined Swansea - in the English Premier League.
Jordan chose the iconic number 10 shirt because his favourite no.9 is already occupied at his new club by English player Scott Sinclair.
The 23-year-old Ghana international penned a five-year contract after completing his medical following negotiations over his fee during the weekend.
Ayew becomes the third player signed from Ligue 1 by Sherwood this summer, following the arrivals of Idrissa Gueye and Jordan Amavi from Lille and Nice respectively, and takes Villa's spending this window to £27.5m.
