Ghanaian defender Abdul Baba Rahman was in pre-season action for German Bundesliga club FC Augsburg amid interest from English Premier League champions Chelsea.
The Black Star and his Augsburg team mates had English club Norwich City as their match day adversaries in a game the German club lost by two goals to one.
Rahman was given a start in the game and played full first half minutes before the entire Augsburg squad was changed for another second half squad.
Augsburg opened the scoring in the game via Piotr Trochowski but comeback goals from Yousuff Mulumbu and Lewis Graban gave Norwich City a 2-1 victory on the day.
Abdul Baba Rahman has dominated the transfer news with links away from German club Augsburg. The Ghanaian was reported to have agreed a deal with Italian Serie A club Roma but recent indications suggest Premier League champions Chelsea have taken the front lead in the chase for the Black Star.
Chelsea want to sign Rahman as a replacement for Felipe Luis who is close to completing a return to Atletico Madrid.
