Ghana youth international midfielder Joseph Alfred Duncan has confirmed his move to Italian Serie A Sassuolo from European giants Inter Milan.
The Neroverdi have secured the 22-year-old powerful midfielder after beating competition from rivals Sampdoria to sign him on a four-year-contract with a one year option.
Sassuolo reportedly paid €6.6 million to sign him from Inter Milan who bred the midfielder from their U17 side through to the Primavera and first team squad.
Duncan confirmed to Accra-based Oman FM he has joined Sassuolo on long term basis: “Yes I have signed for Sassuolo and I think at this stage it is the best decision for me.”
The former Sunderland target started 13 Serie A games for Sampdoria last season and scored once.
