Italian Lega Pro 2 side Fidelis Andria are close to signing highly-rated Ghanaian midfielder Abass Alhassan on a season long deal from Serie A side Sassuolo.
The promising 20-year-old midfielder is training with Sassuolo’s first team squad but is likely to join Andria who gained promotion from the fifth-tier for the upcoming season.
Abass arrived at Sassuolo in 2013 but has been limited to primavera action for the Green and Blacks.
Sassuolo want to loan him out to a club where he can secure regular first team action.
