Dutch side Excelsior Rotterdam pressing Feyenoord to sell Ghanaian attacker Manu

Dutch top-flight side Excelsior Rotterdam are hoping Feyenoord put Ghanaian winger Elvis Manu on  sale as they will benefit from the winger’s sale. 

Excelsior will get their due percentage cut when Feyenoord finally sell midfielder Jordy Clasie to Southampton and are also hoping for the sale of Manu and Lucas Walter.

Manu spent the 2012/2013 season on loan at Excelsior as Feyenoord made a promise to give them a cut from the winger’s eventual sale.

Though Feyenoord have received no offers for the 21-year-old Manu yet but it is believed a couple of German and English clubs are interested in the attacker.

Excelsior are prepared to push Feyenoord to sell him as soon as a club makes an offer.

Feyenoord would resist Excelsior’s pressure and this is set to damage relations between the two rival clubs.
