Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan will be training with his new teammates at Shanghai SIPG on Tuesday.

The Black Stars captain has been training on his own with a designated physical instructor since completing his move to the Chinese club late last week.

Gyan was unable to join the side as they had already began preparations for an away league match which they won 3-2 over the weekend at Guangzhou R&F.

The 29-year-old has now been given the all-clear to train with his new teammates upon their return from Guangzhou.

The team of coaches at Shanghai SIPG are hoping to get the star-striker well prepared to make his debut in the potential season-changing game against league leaders Beijing Gouan next Monday.

Gyan has meanwhile been training on his own with his designated physical instructor in the gym.

The pair engaged each other in a game of table tennis on Monday morning with the Ghanaian striker clearly on top of his game.

The official unveiling of the former Al Ain ace as the new signing for Shanghai SIPG has been set to come off on Wednesday at 4pm local time.

This event will be held before Shanghai SIPG take on Tianjin Teda in a league match on Thursday.
