Elder's son of Ghana football legend Abedi Pele, Rahim Ayew says he will sign for club in the coming season after failing to prolong his contract with Asante Kotoko.

The former Zamalek defender who can play in midfield spent the second half of last season with Kotoko in the Ghana Premier league helping them to both the league and FA cup glory.

Issues of contractual divergence meant Rahim would not extend his stay in Kumasi and has been club less since then.

He says he will return to football in the coming season after sitting out this current campaign.

'I am working hard and training every day because I will sign for a club next season,' Rahim told GHANAsoccernet.com

'I have had some contacts but I want to be sure of my next challenge and that is why I have taken my time to decide.'

'I will definitely besieging for a club next season.'
