Ivorian and Al Ain midfielder Ibrahim Diaky has revealed he will miss the professionalism and creativity of departing Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan.

The former Sunderland man who led the charge as Al Ain dominated the UAE league has seen a bid for him accepted by Al Ain from ambitious Chinese side Shangai SIPG.

Gyan won three goal king gongs in his four year stay in Dubai but was equally effective in projecting the quality of the football in the Arabian Peninsula with his global appeal attracting some of the finest talent to the Arabian league.

Ibrahim Diaky who has played with Gyan since 2013 says he will not only miss a colleague but a true professional.

'Off course Gyan will be missed because he is sociable and a true professional,' he twitted

'He is a true professional and lively character that has brought us a lot of memories.''

An emotional Gyan was full of tears as he bid farewell to fans of Al Ain who have been unwavering.
