Highly emotional Asamoah Gyan clears out his locker at Al Ain as he departs to join Chinese club Shanghai SIPG

Asamoah Gyan cleared out his locker at Al Ain filled with tears as he said his final goodbye to the club on Tuesday evening.

The Ghana captain will be headed to China at sunrise to undergo a medical before signing a contract with Chinese big-spender Shanghai SIPG.

Gyan after a meeting with members of the club's board, descended into the team's dressing room where he took his personal belongings from his customized locker.

The highly emotional Black Stars captain had his eye filled with tears as he went about packing up his stuff.
