​ Big Boost For Ghana Kick Boxing

Ghana Kick Boxing wil very soon be hitting the headlines like football when the first ever international tournament between Ghana and the United Kinhdom takes place in Accra.

According to the main organiser and promoter, Lawrence Nyayo Nmai, all plans for the event are formalized and he is waiting for companies to endorse as sponsors.

He told yours truly in an exclusive interview that the United Kingdom players want to come to Ghana to help promote the sport, and his colleagues in Ghana can not wait for the day.

He noted that October will be aq busy month for Kick Boxing as they will engage in some exhibition fights and visit educational institutions as well as security agencies to educate them on the sport.

He noted that Kick Boxing has developed in so many countries and it is time Ghana also catches up with the world.

He said the World Kick Boxing Organisations are working very hard to make the sport an Olympic Sport and very soon they will be on the international sports calendar.

Lawrence Nmai said Ghana has potential in all sporting disciplines and believes there are kick boxers in Ghana who can challenge the best in the world.

He appealed to the NSA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports to consider their sport and support them.
