Former President and now a Patron of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Nana Oheneba Charles have lauded Mr. Kwabena Yeboah as the most popular sports Journalist in Ghana.
Speaking at the swearing in ceremony of Mr. Kwabena Yeboah as the new SWAG President, he said, “I am extremely happy that my good friend Mr. Kwabena Yeboah is going to lead the association for the next four years. He’s the most popular sports journalist in Ghana and I have no doubt that he is going to deliver.”
Nana Oheneba Charles, however, cautioned Kwabena Yeboah to be business minded, check his executives and also learn from the pitfalls of his predecessors.
Present at the ceremony were; His Excellence Amarkai Amarteifio, Mrs. Gifty Annan Myers, Dr. Affail Monney, Mr. Osei Kwame Bamfo, Mr. Magnus Rex Danquah, and executives and patrons of SWAG.
The new SWAG executives are; Mr. Kwabena Yeboah (President), Maurice Quansah (Vice President), William Dodzi Erzah (General Secretary), Thomas Boakye-Agyemang (Deputy General Secretary), Charles Osei Asibe (Executive Member), Larry George Botchway (Executive Member) and Rosalind K. Amoah (Treasurer).
