Udinese star Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu visited the Ghanaian Chief Imam on Wednesday afternoon to donate assorted drinks as demonstration of his support for the Ghanaian Muslim community during the Ramadan period.

The Black Stars second deputy captain spent some time with the Muslim leader at his residence at Fadama – a suburb of Ghana’s capital Accra on Wednesday afternoon and presented a replica of his Udinese jersey to the Imam.

In his gesture to support to the Muslims during the Ramadan fasting period, the 24-year-old Stoke City target presented assorted drinks, water and provisions to the Imam.

“I had to be there to show support to the Muslim community. They’re a very strong spiritual backing for all Ghanaians so it is important we also offer our support during this time,” he said.

The former Asante Kotoko midfielder well noted for his charity works in Ghanaian communities and his latest gesture only underlines his support for the community.
