Four Ghana players were part of the TP Mazembe side which drew 0-0 with Al Hilal of Sudan in their 2015 CAF Champions League Group A campaign.

Right back Yaw Frimpong was handed a starting role with Solomon Asante coming off the bench in the second half.

Defender Richard Kissi Boateng and Daniel Nii Adjei were unused substitutes.

Veteran goalkeeper Robert Kidiaba was the hero of the day for Mazembe in front of a packed house at Kamalondo stadium in Lubumbashi.

Kidiaba denied the Sudanese three good chances in both halves as Mazembe defenders looked vulnerable every time Al Hilal came forward.

His first interception came on the stroke of halftime when he parried Mudather Eltaib’s free-kick.

He was again called into action in the 70th minute when he denied Nazar Hamid on the near post.

In injury time, Mazembe had again their talismanic stopper to thank when he made another point-blank save, again on the near-post, this time to deny Atir Magor.
