Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua have completed the signing of former West Ham, Newcastle and Chelsea striker Demba Ba from Turkish side Besiktas.
The 30-year-old Senegalese international had been heavily linked with a move to West Brom over the last week but has now completed a shock transfer to China.
Didier Drogba, another former Chelsea striker, played 11 games for Shanghai Shenhua in 2012 - scoring eight goals in the process.
The deal is believed to be worth around €13m (£9.2m) to Besiktas, a fee which they understandably felt they could not turn down for the 30-year-old who they bought last summer for just over €6.5m.
Ba impressed in his one year in Turkey, scoring an outstanding 27 goals in 44 games in all competitions.
