Black Stars forward Jordan Ayew says if there is a trainer he owes tons of appreciation then it is lille coach Harve renard.

The FC Lorient striker revealed that it took the technical eye of the two time African Cup of Nations winner to offer him a loan deal at Sochaux from Marseille.

To Jordan, that platform gave him more playing time and subsequently paved the way for his Lorient move.

Reacting to the strong interest expressed by th Frenchman (Renard) to join his new side Lille, the striker told the press at Mantse Agbona last Thursday that 'Yeah, it is true that he has expressed interest in me but I still remain a Lorient player.

'I owe coach Renard a lot because he gave me an opportunity at Sochuax. He believed in me and I respect him for that,' Jordan added.

Jordan had an impressive spell for the French Ligue I outfit last season, hitting the back of the net 12 times.

Coach Renard, 46, has confirmed that Jordan wants to join him in the midst of a chase from English clubs.

Jordan joined his two elder brothers – Rahim and Dede – in a memorial match for the late Percy 'Zagaro' Quaye, a former Technical Director at Nania FC, who passed on last year
