Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan stormed the State Banquet Hall to make the biggest contribution in a fundraising dinner ahead of the testimonial match of iconic Stephen Appiah.
The Al Ain ace pledged a contribution of $60,000 to beat that of Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o who had wowed the audience with his $50,000 pledge prior to Gyan's arrival on Friday night.
Eto'o fresh from landing at the airport in Accra breezed through the Banquet Hall with his entourage to wake up the tiring crowd.
