Black Stars player Kevin-Prince Boateng has been linked with a host of clubs in the world for a transfer move this summer.

The Ghana international was suspended at his German club Schalke 04 getting to end of last season with Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt confirming there will be no way back for the former AC Milan player.

Prince Boateng has since been linked with a move to China, Galatasaray in Turkey and also a return to Italian Serie A club AC Milan.

Reports about a return to Italy intensified last week and was suggested to be very close but Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt told German tabloid Bild no approach had been made.

Speaking on Kevin-Prince Boateng's transfer situation, Horst Heldt said:

'First of all a club has to contact us and then we will see how the negotiations will go.

'All parties involved want to find a solution. In the end, both players want to continue their careers.'

Bild also reports Kevin-Prince Boateng's €7.5 million a year wages could stand in the way of a transfer.
