Ghanaian defender Baah makes injury return in Finland after a month lay-off

Ghanaian defender Gideon Baah made a return from injury to feature for HJK Helsinki in their Premier League game on Monday night. 

The former Asante Kotoko full-back, 23, was ruled out with a thigh problem in mid-May after limping off in a game.

But returned to action for the league and Cup champions after coming off the bench for play for them in their double wins in the league.

Baah was brought off the bench in HJK’s 3-1 thrashing of SJK last week in the 46th minute and was also a 58th minute substitute for them in their handsome 4-0 victory over Jaro at the Sonera Stadium.

Before he entered into the game, it was still a stalemate but his introduction brought steam to the HJK side they hammered in four goals with 32 minutes to win the game.

Another Ghanaian – Seth Paintsil, an attacker, played full throttle for Jaro who are just above the relegation zone.
