Former Hearts of Oak diminutive midfielder, Charles Allotey has revealed that, the club has failed to honour the promise they made to the players after winning the 2000 CAF Champions League.

The ailing Charles Allotey who is currently receiving treatment at a spiritual home in Ablekuma, Accra was part of the '64 battalion' that took Africa and Ghana by storm, by winning the CAF Champions League, CAF super cup, FA cup and the Ghana premier league.

According to the 35 year old workaholic midfielder, the club has failed to honour its $25,000 promise the management then led by Harry Zakkuor promised.

"God will punish them," fumed Allotey.
"The entire playing body was promised an accumulated bonus of $25,000 each after making a clean sweep of all titles in sight but 15 years on, officials are yet to fulfill that pledge. For us we leave it to God to deal with them," he told Adom FM.

However, Charles Allotey dared the old management of the club [Hearts of Oak] to come out and deny the claims he is making.

"I throw the challenge to Hearts to come out and deny what l'm saying. If you confront them then you are taunted as a disrespectful person."

"The club's leaders will have to pay us our money or God will surely punish them," he reiterated.
