The Ghanaian who led a comeback in the last league game for Olympique Marseille was once again on the scoresheet on Saturday when his club travelled to play Lille in the French Ligue 1.
Ayew who started the game and went on to play in the full duration scored the last of four goals for Marseille in their rout on the road.
Gignac opened the scoring for Marseille before Rod Fanni added to make it 2-0 going into the interval.
Alessandrini added after the break to give the away side a three-goal lead with Andre Ayew rounding off the win with a fourth goal.
