Accra, May 4, GNA - Nana Adu Mankatta II, President of the National Sports For All, an NGO in sports, has called on Ghanaians to control their eating habits to stay healthy at all times.

He said eating heavy food at late hours without taking some exercises before going to bed were some of the things Ghanaians must avoid.

Nana Makatta made the call at the end of a Health Walk and Breast Screening exercise as part of activities marking the 25th anniversary of Akosua Agyepong in the music industry, in Accra on Saturday.

The walk, which started from the Trade Fair Centre at La, through the Military Hospital to Kanda and some principal streets of the capital, ended at the starting point.

Nana Mankatta charged Ghanaians to take active interest in keep fit exercises to ensure a healthy lifestyle.

Akosua Agyepong on her part said she added the breast screening to the walk to sensitize the public on the dangers of breast cancer, which she said, killed her mother at the age of 48.

She said she had started breast cancer sensitization campaigns in the country's universities and expressed the hope that the campaign would be successful.

About 2,500 walkers took part in the exercise, which was sponsored by Nestle Ghana Limited, Special Ice Mineral Water, Tobinco Pharmaceuticals, Union Oil Ghana Limited and Family Matters Energy Drink.
