Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City continued their final push for survival in the English Premier League on Saturday against Newcastle United.

Leicester City recorded a convincing 3-0 home win against Newcastle taking them off the relegation zone.

Jeffrey Schlupp returned from injury to play in the entire duration of the game for Leicester.

Christian Atsu was not named in the match day squad as his Everton side were defeated 3-2 away from home against Aston Villa in the English Premier League.

Ghanaian forward Kwesi Appiah was on the score sheet for his Reading side as they handed Derby County a 3-0 defeat in the English Championship final game of the season.

Appiah scored the first of the three goals before Michael Hector and Garath McCleary [penalty] added for the away victory for Reading.

The Ghanaian played in the full duration of the game without a booking.

Albert Adomah also featured for his Middlesbrough side on the final day of the English Championship as they played a goalless draw at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Ghanaian and his side maintained their play-off spot as they bid for the final place in the English Premier League.

Alfred Duncan made a 73 minute appearance for Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A game against Kwadwo Asamoah's Juventus.

The Ghanaian and his home side lost by a single goal to nil withArturo Vidal finding the back of the net for Juventus.

Afriyie Acquah was not involved for Samdoria on the day. Kwadwo Asamoah could also not make a match day return having resumed training after a long injury lay off.

In the German Bundesliga, Kevin-Prince Boateng made a 63 minute appearance for Schalke 04 replacing Eric Maxim CHoupo-Moting in the home game againt VfB Stuttgart.

The Ghanaian and his side won by three goals to two.

Abdul Baba Rahman played the full goalless draw game for his Augsburg side against FC Cologne in the German Bundesliga.

Jonathan Mensah once again missed Evian Thonon Gaillard's 2-0 loss against Lyon in the French Ligue 1 as he recovers form an injury lay off.

Jordan Ayew featured in the full game FC Lorient against Bordeaux. The Ghanaian and his side played a goalless draw at home.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom was not named in the match day squad for Atalanta in the Italian Serie A. Atalanta played a 1-1 draw in the game with Lazio.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu missed Udinese's 1-0 away victory in the Italian Serie A through suspension.

Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari both did not play a part in the Italian Serie A game for AC Milan against Napoli away from home.
