Fosu-Mensah: Ghanaian youth defender in action for Manchester United in painful Chelsea reverse

Dutch-born Ghanaian youth international Timothy Fosu-Mensah was in full time action for Manchester United U18 side as Chelsea fought from a goal down to defeat them 2-1 at their favourite Altrincham grounds on Saturday morning.

The United side took an early lead through youngster Marcus Rashford’s early minute penalty but the visitors struck twice at the later stages of the game to win the tie.

Chelsea had six schoolboys featuring in their starting line-up with Ghanaian starlet Richard Nartey absent from the squad.
