Head Coach of AshantiGold Bashiru Hayford has hailed Fatau's Dauda's professionalism despite a 1-0 loss to WA All Stars over the weekend that saw their six points at the summit of the table cut to three.

Dauda is slowing getting his technique and agility back with regular football under his belt following a frustrating one year spell in South Africa.

The Black Stars goalie was impressive in AshGold 2-0 win over Inter Allies and was a standout performer for the miners despite a 1-0 loss to All Stars.

The 30 year old’s form and experience will be key if  AshGold are to lift the title this season with highly rated Robert Dobuo pushing the former Orlando Pirates man to his elastic limit for the number one position.

Dauda saved a late penalty from WA All Stars to keep the score line respectable and Hayford says he is happy to have two of the best goalkeepers in the country by his side.

“Fatau has been a true professional since he returned and I am happy he is with us,” Bashiru Hayford told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I have two of the best keepers in the country Fatau and Dabuo and I am happy with the competition between the two of them.”

It will be interesting see who gets the nod to play in the game against Hearts of oak who will come visiting this Wednesday.
