English side Port Vale delighted over Enoch Andoh's Ghana U23 call-up

English third tier side Port Vale are delighted that their winger Enoch Andoh has been called up to play for Ghana under-23s.

The 22 year old wide-man, who can also play as an attacking central midfielder, has been selected for the Ghana squad for this Sunday when they play Liberia.

Andoh could feature for the under-23s on Sunday when they face Liberia in the first leg of their Olympic Games qualifier.

“Everyone at Port Vale would like to wish Enoch the best of luck during his time on international duty,” a statement from Port Vale read on Friday.

Andoh has previously represented Ghana at under-20 level, having gone to the 2011 African Nations Championship with them.

The former Porto youth player joined Vale on an 18-month deal in November having been identified by chairman Norman Smurthwaite.

He has impressed for the reserves this season and been an important player in the side which has won the Final Third Development League West Division.

Port Vale is an English football club that plays in Football League One, the third tier in the English football league system.

They are based in Burslem, Staffordshire, one of six towns that make up the city of Stoke-on-Trent.
