Sogndal striker Mahatma Otoo returned from injury in style, helping his side to beat lysekloster 5-1 in an Fa cup match.

The former Accra Hearts of Oak forward did not only impress but added his name to the scoring sheet when he cushioned Sogndal's lead with the second goal.

The Black Stars striker, who lasted the entire 90 minutes, showed promise and had a hand in almost all the goals they recorded in their away game.

He told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS in a telephone interview, 'It's always good to come back; and what a way to announce my return! It was a good game, and although it was a cricket score line, the home side gave us a stiff opposition.

'It was a team work performance and I want to commend my colleagues for being there for each other. We played as a team, that is what matters most.'

He indicated that he is taking his training sessions a level higher and expressed the wish to continue in his current razor sharp form.

Otoo saw little action in the Equatorial Guinea Nations Cup tournament, but was impressive the few times he featured for the Black Stars
