English Premier league side West Ham United are contemplating having a three days preseason camping in Ghana ahead of the 2015/2016 Barclays English Premier League season.

The Hammers have seen their challenge for European football crumble in the second half of the season after a splendid start that saw them break into the top four of the championship.

Sam Allardyce has three players in his first team who come from the African continent with on-loan Barcelona midfielder Alex Song, Diafra Sakho and Chiekhou Kouyate all huge contributors to the Hammers season so far.

Sources close to the club have informed Ghana's number one soccer portal GHANAsoccernet.com that Coach Sam Allardyce has informed top hierarchy of the club of his desire to hold a three day preseason camping in Ghana ahead of the 2015/2016 Barclay premier league season.

If confirmation is made this will be the first time a top flight English Premier League side will be visiting Ghana for their seasonal preparations.

South African side Mamelodi Sundowns and Congolese side TP Mazembe have all enjoyed fortunes after winning their respective domestic league following visits to Ghana.

The Ghanaian game is expected to be given a massive uplift should Alladyce get his way with some clubs assured of the opportunity to be given a run out against a top English side.
