APR 20, 2015 LISTEN

Officials and players of the national beach soccer team, the Black Sharks will return to Accra on Tuesday.

The Sharks missed out on a semi-final berth to Senegal even though Ghana triumphed 5-3 on the pitch against former African champions.

The two teams that qualified for the World Cup in Portugal came from Ghana's group making it the group of death.

Another impressive statistic is that the most value player of the tournament, the best goalkeeper and the goal king all came from Ghana's Group B.

Coach Daniel Kotey said "the experience gained in Seychelles would strengthen the national team and beach soccer in general in Ghana."

Meanwhile the goal king for the championship, Ghana's Alexander Adjei has been approached by the division 1 football league champions of Seychelles, Lion FC.

Eventual tournament winners Madagascar were the only unbeaten side, winning all their matches in impressive displays.
