In the English Premier League, Jeffrey Schlupp and his Leicester City side continued their final push for survival with another superb display at home against Swansea City.

The Ghanaian made it three wins in the last three games with a 2-0 win against the Wales club. Jose Leonardo Ulloa and Andy King scored the goals for Leicester City.

Jeffrey Schlupp played in the entire duration of the game.

Christian Atsu could not make the Everton squad on Saturday as they entertained Burnley in the English Premier League. The Ghanaian who is on loan at the Merseyside club from Chelsea saw his side win by a single goal to nil with Kevin Mirallas bagging the goal at Goodison Park.

Kwesi Appiah did not play a part in his Reading side's FA Cup semi-final game against Arsenal at Wembley. The Ghanaian is cup-tied and watched on as his side lost by two goals to one after extra time.

Afriyie Acquah and Alfred Duncan could only make the bench for Sampdoria in the Italian Serie A on Saturday.

Sampdoria played out a goalless draw at home with Cesena.

Kwadwo Asamoah has undergone his first training session in about four months for Juventus. The Ghanaian who is recovering from a long injury layoff was however not ready for Juventus' home game against Lazio on Saturday night.

The Italian Serie A Champions won the game by two goals without reply with Carlos Tevez and Leonardo Bonucci finding the back of the net for Juventus.

Abdul Baba Rahman played the full game for Augsburg in the German Bundesliga on Saturday.

The Ghanaian and his side won by two goals to one against VfB Stuttgart at home. Rahman received a yellow card booking in the game.

In the French Ligue 1, Jonathan Mensah did not play as his Evian Thonon Gaillard side drew 0-0 away at Guingamp.

The Ghanaian however took to twitter to congratulate his teammates for the point taken in the game.

Jordan Ayew played the full game on Saturday for FC Lorient in the French Ligue 1 as they lost 1-0 .at home to Toulouse.

Jordan's senior brother Andre Ayew was at the game to see his younger brother play.

Andre Ayew himself also lost away from home to Nantes on Friday night. The Ghanaian and his Olympique Marseille side were also beaten by a goal to nil.

Albert Adomah was in action for his Middlesbrough side in the English Championship on Friday night as their 1-0 away win over Norwich City took them to the top of the league table.
