Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has won the Arabian Gulf League with his Al Ain side in the United Arab Emirates.
Al Ain clinched a record 12 Arabian Gulf League title on Friday night with three games to spare after their convincing 4-0 win against Al Ittihad Kalba was compliment by a 4-2 defeat against second placed Al-Jazira by local rivals Bani Yas.
The league win is Asamaoh Gyan's third in his four years of playing for the club in the Garden City.
Asamoah Gyan made a significant impact in the game that won his Arabian club the domestic league scoring the last of four goals for his side.
Miroslav Stoch opened the scoring for Al Ain at home before Jires Kembo-Ekoko and Omar Abdulrahman added in the first half.
Gyan scored the only goal in the second half with seven minutes of regular time to play after coming on as a 58 minute substitute as Al Ain won the game by four goals to nil.
Asamoah Gyan has scored 13 goals in 14 league games for the 2014/2015 season. Follow @kboakye92
