AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez says Ghanaian duo Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari do not have the technical qualities fans of the team expect in the team.
The Spanish goal tender was answering questions from fans on Facebook ahead of the derby against Inter Milan and made the comment when a fan asked about the cutest players at the club.
"Muntari and Essien, they always smile, always think positive. Do not have the technical qualities that the Milan fans would expect to see in the middle of the field, but better than nothing.'
The Ghanaian duo have enjoyed an indifferent season with a fed up Sulley Muntari opting out of the first team till the end of the season as a result of spending too much time on the bench.
Both players are likely to be out of the team as Milan prepare for a major overhaul in the summer in a bid to return to the heights of Italian football with Muntari linked to the MLS while Essien is also attracting attention from the Indian Professional league which recently launched.
