Celebrated Ghanaian journalist Kwabena Yeboah has predicted incumbent Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi will lead the country's federation for 'life'.

Yeboah, hugely regarded as one of Ghana's leading sports hacks, says the astute lawyer has the backing of the electorates to lead them for 'many years'.

Nyantakyi is seeking a third bid to lead the Ghana FA at the next elections in September this year in a race which is hugely tipped in his favour.

The Ghanaian football leader seems to enjoy the backing of football aficionados and almost set to secure a landslide victory when he goes to the poll.

Veteran Ghanaian sports journalist Kwabena Yeboah feels it will be almost impossible for anyone to unseat him, predicting he will follow in the footsteps of FIFA boss Sepp Blatter and CAF president Issah Hayatou.

“He has the goodwill of the electorates so it's going to be difficult for him to be unseated,” he told Accra-based Happy FM

“He is going to be the president of life for Ghana football just as Sepp Blatter and Issa Hayatou have entrenched themselves.”

A relative unknown figure Ofeibea Ramatu is the only person who has publicly declared her intention to contest the Ghana FA boss with widespread reports Fred Pappoe and Randy Abbey are lurking to spring a surprise.

Nyantakyi has been hailed in many quarters for his enviable leadership skills which has seen him chalk modest successes since he took charge in 2005.

The Black Stars has become a global brand while his international reputation soars.
