APR 2, 2015 LISTEN

Andre Ayew has given a detailed look into the Clasico in France. ahead of Marseille's meeting with PSG on Sunday.

The two sides come face to face at the Stade Velodrome this weekend in a fixture that may have an effect on where the Ligue 1 title ends up this season.

The winger, who is a favorite at Marseille, and who has netted four goals in 11 games against PSG has outlined what goes into the clash, being the 'expert' in the fixture that he is.

"Every player trained here in Marseille, grows with this determination, the desire to know this one thing. As soon as the calendar fell, was checked this game." said the Ghanaian international in an interview published Wednesday in L'Equipe, in which he describes in great detail all the charm of this rivalry.

"Even if there is an issue in the standings, there is also the ego side the fans side. This is even more important, he said. In the street, people do not stop to talk to me of this meeting. In the bus, arriving at the stadium, you feel it in looks, attitudes."

"Over time, I realized that we could not predict how the match will happen. A win does not allow you to forget a bad run but many things are forgiven. On the ground, this is war, there is intensity, mad tension. But once it's over, those who were friends before remain."

"To lose such a match is not easy to accept. The defeat (1-2) last season at the Velodrome (6 October 2013) was very hard to digest . This match did us wrong. There's so much at stake ... "

"We do not play that game for us. We play for the whole city a region. It must be up to people. This match is for the fans and for us. I have seen some  cry ... We want to give them pleasure on Sunday. The fans show us so much love. "

"In these games, the atmosphere is great, the stadium is on fire."
