Ghana's two continental campaigners, Accra hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko go into separate battles against Olympic de ngor and MC El Eulma respectively this weekend.

Between the two representatives, the Kumasi-based club stand a better chance of advancing based on their 0-0 first leg away results.

Hearts on the other hand managed a 2-1 win in Accra in the first leg, making their chances slimmer, considering the away goal rule.

But Hearts on account of what resulted in their progression to this stage could pull another surprise when they face their Senegalese counterparts in their Confederations Cup tie on foreign land.

The Phobians are struggling in the domestic league, lying fourth from bottom, but indications are that they have stepped up their training.

Though football is a game of uncertainties, Kotoko appear favourites in Sunday's encounter against the Algerians.

They were a delight to watch in the industrial city of Eulma in the first leg, coming close to snatching victory on numerous occasions.

A win, which will be a qualification, will be Coach David Duncan's third streak victory since assuming the Kotoko job.
