No pressure: Coach Duncan optimistic about Kotoko chances

Kumasi Asante Kotoko coach, David Duncan has shrugged aside any suggestions of pressure ahead of his side's must-win CAF Champions League second leg tie against Algerian side, Eulma on Sunday.

The Ghana champions must beat the Algerians following a goalless stalemate in the first leg over a fortnight ago in the North African country.

With the ghost of another Algerian side, Bejaia still haunting the Kotoko faithful after they eliminated the Ghanaian giants on away goals following a 1-1 draw in Kumasi after Kotoko had secured a familiar goalless result in Algeria, Coach Duncan has told Kotoko fans to remain calm.

The former Hearts of Oak and Ashantigold helmsman who was with Kotoko in Algeria for the first leg even before formally signing a deal with the club, remains defiant insisting that the demands his team will face on Sunday are part of the game.

"I'm under no pressure. This isn't a new territory for me. Coaching is my job, I don't get what you mean by pressure. I live with it," Coach Duncan was quoted by a Kotoko official tweet.

"We're cautiously optimistic that we will prevail on Sunday. I don't know how we will shape up now but we will put out a formidable team," he added. Follow @thedonplato
