Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is close to agreeing a pre-contract with an unnamed German side after impressing scouts from Germany during Ghana's 1-1 drawn game against Mali.
The 29 year old shot-stopper made only his first start in nine months for the Black Stars in their one all drawn game against Mali in Paris.
Dauda was impressive with communication with his defenders and handled the ball well with his feet to sniff out any danger a trait which has certainly caught the eyes of the German scouts.
The AshGold gloves man was immediately plunged into negotiations after the game and is currently on his way to Germany for further negotiations.
Dauda who has had stints with Orlando Pirates was Ghana's first choice goalkeeper at the world cup and was close to a move to Belgium giants Anderlecht before ultimately signing a two year deal with Chippa United.
This move is seen as career reviving after having enduring a frustrating spell at club level for over a year.
