Fatau Dauda to arrive in Germany on Wednesday morning

Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda is on his way to Germany to finalize a transfer move to an unnamed club, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 29-year-old is expected in Germany on Wednesday morning to finalize discussions just hours after playing for Ghana in a 1-1 friendly with Mali in France.

Dauda looks to finalize the talks with the unnamed club following preliminary discussions with AshantiGold chief.

The goalkeeper will sign a pre-contract agreement with the club once terms are accepted.

He will then return to AshantiGold until June before joining his prospective new club for pre-season training.

“I can confirm to you that Fatau Dauda is on his way to Germany to conclude talks with a club,” the goalkeeper's manager Micky Boafo told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Dauda will be eager to wrap up a deal to get his club career back on track.

The former Okwahu United youth player suffered a massive setback in his career when he join Orlando Pirates on the back of an impressive showing at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

A subsequent move to Chippa United also did later to save his club career, leading to his return to AshantiGold where he has had very limited first team opportunities due to the consistency of first choice Robert Dabuo.
