Welfare Officer of Sporting Mirren,William Ofori Anum has been charged by the GFA Disciplinary Committee with misconduct for breaching Articles 35(1)(a), 35(2) and 35(3)(b) of the GFA General Regulations.
The charge is in relation to their GN Bank Division One League match against Istanbul FC where Mr. Ofori Anum allegedly entered the field of play without permission and dug the centre spot of the park with an object contrary to the GFA Regulations.
Ofori Anum has until 5pm Thursday, April 2, 2015 to submit his written Statement of Defence.
The Disciplinary Committee will proceed to adjudicate the case if Mr. Ofori Anum fails to submit his Statement of Defence.
