Razak Braimah 6/10 - The Mirandes goalkeeper retained his spot in the team and seemed to be having an easy night until he was caught out by Moussa Konate's stunning lob. That was the significant blight on what was an otherwise decent outing .

J.Mensah N/R - The Evian man was enjoying an easy night until he collided with team mate Acheampong, leading to an injury that led to him getting replaced.

J.Boye 5/10 - Blew a golden chance in the 26th minute with a right footed shot but also showed good pace and timing to make a tackle on Mame Diouf. Was caught out on both goals.

Frank Acheampong 5/10 -Made a tackle on Sow at a crucial moment in a disciplined performance. Normally a winger he did not have many chances to bomb forward and ran at defenders as his style .

Harrison Afful 5/10 -  The cross for Ghana's consolation goal redeemed the Esperance man from what was a really poor, error prone performance. He was beaten several times by Mane and his mistake almost gave Senegal a goal but for Demba Ba's profligacy.

Christian Atsu 4/10 -Very quiet as he struggled to produce any of his usual quality runs and crosses as he was marked tightly by Mbodji and Kouyate.

Afriyie Acquah 7/10 - He really has become the fulcrum of the Black Stars team with his intensity and hard running. Shielded the back line and stayed disciplined.

Kwesi Appiah 3/10 - The Crystal Palace man failed to replicate his AFCON form as he looked out of his depth in Le Havre. Wasted good opportunities with poor finishing .Will hope for an improved performance in the game against Mali.

Jordan Ayew 5/10 - A workmanlike performance from another player in good form domestically. Looked to ran at the Senegal defence but failed to end an end product to his endeavour.

Andre Ayew 4/10 - The captain is in great form at club level but looked disinterested for large parts of the game as he strolled through the encounter.Showed enthusiasm but little else in a poor outing.

Mubarak Wakaso 5/10 The Celtic man knows how to play only way ;Intensely and ran himself aground. Had a shot saved by Diallo and controlled the game well especially in the second half. His lack of match fitness showed in the second half as he faded.

Jeffrey Schlupp N/R
Agyeman -Badu 3/10 -Continued his struggle with tactical discipline as he was out of place for the pass that set up the counter for Senegal's second goal.A far cry from the player he used to be in 2012.

Richmond Boakye -Yiadom 6/10 -Came on as a late substitute and scored with a fine glancing header from a Harrison Afful cross to celebrate his recall to the national set up.W
