FEB 28, 2015 LISTEN

Mas-ud Didi Dramani is on the verge of securing the local Black Stars job as head coach.

The CAF instructor was recently told by Kumasi Asante Kotoko to proceed on a 4-month leave, following series of poor results that left the champions on 10 position on the league log at the time of the decision to let him step aside.

However, Allsports.com.gh can confirm that Didi Dramani is set to be named as the head coach of the domestic based Black Stars in the upcoming days.

Didi Dramani, who turns 49 on Tuesday,  last national team assignment was with the Black Maidens and his team became the first African side to win a bronze medal during the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup held in Azerbaijan in 2012.

His first task will be the qualification for the 2016 African Nations Championship (CHAN) to be staged in Rwanda.

The Local Black Stars were runners-up in the 3 edition of the CHAN under Coach Maxwelll Konadu.
