Former Ghana goal stopper Richard Olele Kingson will be in post when Accra Great Olympics take on Kumasi Asante Kotoko on March 6 at the Accra Stadium, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS can confirm.

Kingson and former Olympics attacker Godwin Attram are both making a return to the club after sojourns abroad for many years.

The two players are currently awaiting their ITCs to play in the First Capital Plus Premier league.

But before the arrival of their documents, they have hinted their readiness for the special Independence Anniversary Cup match on March 6.

A representative of the Wonder Club, Emmanuel Nii Osei said at a press conference yesterday that 'it isn't for nothing that the organizers pitted the two teams together. I am delighted and I am telling Kotoko fans that we will beat them 2-0.'

Kotoko's representative, Nii Darko, on his part said, 'We have not lost in Accra for the past two seasons and we will make sure we guard that record though things are not going the way we expect.'

At stake for the winner is a giant trophy and a 21-inch flat screen television as the reward for the Most Valuable Player.

Preceding the game, arranged by My Sports Organization in collaboration with Despite Group of Companies, is a curtain raiser between sister stations, United Television (UTV) and Peace FM.

A cool rate of GH¢10 will be charged for the VIP stand and the other stands will attract a flat fee of GH¢5.

The game is being sponsored by Kingdom Beverages Limited, Alive & Kicking and Best Point Savings and Loans.
