Ghana Premier League champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko recorded their second league win of the current season after ending a poor start with their first win on the match day 3 against B. A. United.

The Porcupine Warriors who beat B. A. United away from home in Sunyani entertained Inter Allies at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday as they seeked to build up on three points gathered the last time out.

Inter Allies who have won one, drawn one and lost one in their three fixtures for the ongoing season gave the champions a tough start on their own turf, holding them to a goalless draw in the first half.

The Tema based club stuck to their game after the interval but could only hold Kotoko from scoring in the first 20 minutes of the half.

Mohammed Dauda took advantage of a defensive blunder from Inter Allies as the Kotoko player scored the only goal of the game in the 65 minute to give his side a 1-0 victory.

Atta Kusi made his debut for the Kumasi based club in the game against Inter Allies, replacing Bonney after he was subbed for sustaining an injury.
