Ghana Premier League side, Medeama SC, have officially unveilled young trainer, Tom Strand, as their new coach.
The Swede recently parted ways with Bechem United.
Strand, 33, joined Bechem United in the second round of last season's Ghana Premier League after the then head coach Miloslav Bogdanovic opted to join regional rivals Aduana Stars.
He has taken the position made vacant by Prince Owusu, who recently decided to team up with former Ghana national team coach, Kwesi Appiah, at Sudan's Al Khartoum SC.
Strand guided Bechem United to finish fifth on the log last season.
He will start his official duty on Friday and will handle their first match when the Mauves and Yellows play hosts to AshantiGold SC on Sunday at Tarkwa.
