AfricanFootball takes a quick statistical look back at the group stage of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.

1 – The number of games lost by both Ghana and Algeria, the only teams to enter the quarterfinals without an unbeaten record. One is also the number of red cards issued at the tournament, with Gervinho's sending off against Guinea the only dismissal thus far.

8 – The number of matches remaining in the tournament.

13 – The number of draws recorded in the group stage of the tournament.

41 – The number of different goal scorers at the tournament, including the one own goal (scored by South Africa's Thulani Hlatshwayo).

45 – The number of goals scored in the 24 group stage matches, at an average of 1.88 per match.

50-50 – The chances of progression for Mali and Guinea, who will draw lots on 29 January to determine which of the two progresses into the quarterfinals after finishing with identical records in Group D.
