Injured Ghana striker Abdul Majeed Waris says he cannot wait to return to the pitch after weeks out due to injury.
Waris suffered a leg injury while play for Turkish side Trabzonspor in a league match two weeks ago.
The injury ruled him out of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
After watching his international teammates do action in Equatorial Guinea, Waris took to Twitter to announce how much he is missing the game.
He posted: “One week without football is like a week without food. GOD is the reason.”
Waris has been targeted by Manchester United despite failing to light up the Turkish top-flight.
