Unhappy Olele: Kingson slams Brimah performance
28.01.2015 LISTEN

Richard Kingston has slammed the abilities of goalkeeper Razak Brimah despite the Black Stars qualifying for the next round of the Africa Cup of Nations.

Speaking on Happy FM, the former Ghana goalkeeper called into question the glovesman's positioning and highlighted the mistakes the Mirandes man made as the Black Stars fell one goal behind in the first half at Mongomo.

The 27-year-old safest pair of hands was caught out in the last Group C encounter for Masango's volley that almost cost his Black Stars qualification to the next round.

'He (Braimah) doesn't know how to position himself well in post. I also have a problem with his timing and calculation in making saves,' the ex-Galatasary glovesman added.

Kingson added that he is ever ready to return to the Black Stars if he is handed a call-up by Coach Avram Grant.

"If I am called up, I will return. It will not be tough for me to perform in post for the team (Black Stars) because I have been actively training on my own,' He added.
