Ghana forward Andre Ayew has credited practice and his team mates for his ability to score headed goals.

The Marseille star scored with a trade mark header off a cross from Baba Rahman to seal Ghana's spot in the quarterfinals in a hard rough victory over South Africa in Mongomo.

Ayew already holds the record for the most headed goals scored by a winger in the Ligue 1 with 15 recorded goals till date and also scored from an almost identical situation in the World Cup against Germany.

"I think in football we try to practice everything and it is true that it is one of my qualities but i work very hard on it to make it better but also if it is not a great ball from Baba I will not have that opportunity to score that is why I am saying i congratulate the whole squad and the courage that we have shown and i hope that this victory will help us become a great squad and help us be more united."

Ayew's goal brings his tally to two in this AFCON and four over all in his ACFON career.
