Captain Asamoah Gyan has refused to single out any single Ghana player for special praise at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Al Ain ace has received probably most of the praises for his last-gasp winner against Algeria which restored Ghana's chances of progression in the tournament.

Rookie Daniel Amartey has also been lauded for his assured performances in the Black Stars defence.

But Asamoah Gyan says the team's heightened performance is as a result of team work and not the sole efforts of individual players.

“For me every player is important in the Ghana team,” he said.

“Anybody who has been given the opportunity is ready to die for the nation. That is what I believe in.”

Ghana will qualify for the quarter finals of the 2015 AFCON with an expected win over South Africa on Tuesday.
